John, like so many people thought ‘it will never happen to me’.

Unfortunately it did.

In this short film, John and his wife Michelle share their experiences since their lives changed over two years ago when they were involved in a serious car accident.

Many people have the same view that John did, that these sorts of things always happen to someone else. Their story is just one example. Sadly, there are over 2 million other true stories of people in the UK who are off work long term (six months or more) through accident or sickness.
